For the Benefit of the Families in Northern Ostrobothnia (4F Mission) is an association that operates in the southern Oulu region in Finland. The association organises social and recreational camps, events and occasions for the local children, youth, and families.
Our work aims to provide safety and social support in a changing world. We work on these fields:
- Camps for children and youth
- Social assistance (financially and otherwise)
- Church-related events and occasions
- International activities
Some of our brands are:
- Day Camps for Kids (in summertime)
- The Festival of Light for families (in October)
- The Family Day for families (in May)
In addition, 4F Mission will help refugees and immigrants, like Afghans and Ukrainians, by offering them social assistance, friendship, and locally organised international events (in English and Finnish).
We are also supporting many efforts to help Ukraine in times of war. Here’s one example of our involvement with Nordic partners in spring 2023 (video).
We share common Christian values in our work, such as faithfulness, thankfulness, care, and responsibility. The 4F Mission cooperates with the local NGOs, churches, and officials. The association was founded in January 2022.
